It turns out that Freddy J is a great little camper. He loves being out doors, with the major exception of the pool---you would have thought we were torturing him! He slept well at night, loved the swings and had a great time learning to walk.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPVnWU-zIVZJrmCY_4rkZLYetHoqmGVC9J0e3q3LovMmyN8xmGSBolWPpjT56ExvHn_QZcwfmGEhWchfYtNp55TQ2vGCeZ2Ph9f8lURWJClKKPs7oZGA0P3FpITGVz75REkMWJDqVeHJw/s320/Camp+Coldbrook+8108+(15).JPG)
We went kayaking and enjoyed seeing multiple beaver dams, dragon flys and a great blue Heron as well as a variety of beautiful water plants and flowers. The Quabbin Reservoir provided us with a beautiful area to enjoy.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUZ2XtQw-ECTiI3MNFuQ8Edw98quR7kEPvwI8ok35SkIiCDOAk-Hl-ET7PaXZiIESJRSaSKI0idTGsTsNsVi5pVUhBPLaZppFhIN3F3Qx7ytUFA7ypcGKNRLO3EQyOWzS_sGXhJDnND0U/s320/Camp+Coldbrook+8108+(3).JPG)
We enjoyed camp fires, s'mores, Fred's pancake breakfasts, and competitive games of Phase 10, Skip-Bo and Mexican Train Domino's.
The weather was gentle with us.
The company was great.
A great time was had by all.
