Sea Pines New Jersey

Fred and I are enjoying our last camping week of the year at a thousand trails Campground called Sea Pines in Swainton New Jersey.   We are just a few miles from Cape May and close to beaches and boardwalks.
The campground is lovely. The lots are spacious and flat with a packed sand base. There are a lot of trees both pine and deciduous for shade but they have been pruned well so we also have sun on our lot and the overall atmosphere is not dark or gloomy.
At the end of September this is a quiet place.  There are quite a few seasonal campers here for the weekend but I imagine that will thin out during the week.   We are looking for ward to meeting some more full timers and talking to them about their travels and plans.  Information gathering at this point, but it never hurts to get opinions from those that are living the dream.
I am looking forward to a trip this afternoon to Sunset Beach to search for Cape May Diamonds.  I will let you know if we find any.

Inspiration

Inspiration is everywhere.
I received an unusual gift from Corrin Clarkson this Christmas.
It was a little bag of bead drops made from electronic resistors from a store appropriately named Found in her home state of Michigan.

Resistor Bead drop earrings

Corrin's gift inspired me to make these earrings.
I have only taken them off to sleep or shower in 2 days. The are lightweight, they move when I do and they make the tiniest tinkling music when they do.

The resistor bead drops inspired me to rescue this old tape player from the trash pile

 and turn it into this.

And to find this wonderful offering in the worlds largest garage sale.

The possibilities are endless...at least for the foreseeable future.
