I received an unusual gift from Corrin Clarkson this Christmas.
It was a little bag of bead drops made from electronic resistors from a store appropriately named Found in her home state of Michigan.

Corrin's gift inspired me to make these earrings.
I have only taken them off to sleep or shower in 2 days. The are lightweight, they move when I do and they make the tiniest tinkling music when they do.
The resistor bead drops inspired me to rescue this old tape player from the trash pile
and turn it into this.
And to find this wonderful offering in the worlds largest garage sale.
The possibilities are endless...at least for the foreseeable future.
Very cute earrings! great way to recycle!ReplyDelete
I stumbled across your blog and the first thing I saw were the resistor earings. Absolutely brilliant. It has inspired me to use my old electronic scrap to use creatively. Thanks :)ReplyDelete
